Recently i have seen the same problem with many traveling agencies, the main reason for it is "growth in technology"
Usually travel agencies will get good commission only when they book flight tickets for their customers. But people who go on flights are generally premium class people, today more than 96% of the premium class people are using their own smart phones to buy the tickets.
So, we are only having 4% people to buy the tickets from travel agencies. From this we can say market growth rate of traveling agencies had decreased when compared to past years.That too you may also have other competitors to eat your market share even from that 4% people.
Any business with having low market growth and low market share can not make profits. It will become difficult for a business to sustain in such conditions.
You have to ask a question for yourself
when people are having a chance to book the tickets at their finger tips(smart phones) with some great discounts and wonderful offers, why they have to go for travel agencies to get their tickets ?
You can increase your market share/Customers by using some limited opportunities like giving some local offers (coupons) to people who buy tickets from you.
You can get those coupons by partnering with your neighboring businesses like restaurants , Bakeries, Coffee shops etc. In such case both businesses will get benefited.
But my suggestion for you is to quit this business, and go for another business in which you have some good knowledge.
